Calling all U.S. citizens in Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding area:

The U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City is holding an Open House for U.S. citizens living in the area.  We have not had a chance to hold a meeting like this since before COVID, so bring your questions – we have answers!  Stop by the Open House for U.S. Citizens at the American Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Diamond Plaza, 34 Le Duan, District 1, on the Eighth (8th) Floor on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Consul General Susan Burns will provide opening remarks at 1 p.m., and then afterward, representatives from the Consulate will discuss the services we provide to U.S. citizens, including guidance on voting overseas.  Teams from American Citizen Services, Nonimmigrant visa, and Immigrant visa units of the Consular section will be available throughout the event to answer questions and provide information.  We will be able to accept your election-related mail to return to the United States via diplomatic mail and completed applications for U.S. passport renewals eligible for our . If you are unable to attend the event in person, we will stream the event and accept questions on the .
